Grace has been my Spanish teacher for many years. Our class of three adult students meets once a week over Zoom. Every week we read and translate books in Spanish, do grammar homework that we correct in class, and converse in Spanish about current events.
Grace is a patient and creative teacher. She encourages us to speak in Spanish, gently corrects us when needed, and inspires us to be confident in our language ability. She naturally creates a learning environment that is fun and friendly because SHE is fun and friendly. She obviously loves teaching, and so we love learning. I look forward every week to our Spanish class and, because of Grace, have become comfortable speaking Spanish with anyone who wants to speak Spanish with me. She’s the best!
